Development of Office 2010 started in 2006 while Microsoft was finishing work on Office 12, released as Microsoft Office 2007. It was previously thought that Office 2010 (then called Office 14) would ship in the first half of 2009; however it is officially announced that Office 2010 will ship in 2010.
Microsoft also officially confirmed that the business launch for Office 2010 is on May 12. Consumers will not be able to purchase the product until June. In January Microsoft announced Office 2010 pricing. Office 2010 will be released in at least five different flavors, including a free version that includes Microsoft Word and Excel, but comes with limited functionality and includes advertisements. The editions of Office 2010 will include Starter, Home and Student, Home and Business, Professional and Professional Academic.

Microsoft Office 2010 will include updated support for the ISO/IEC compliant version of OOXML, which was standardized as ISO/IEC 29500:2008 in March 2008. The intent of the ISO/IEC is to allow the removal of the Transitional variant from the ISO/IEC compliant version of the OOXML standard.

Terminal Server is the server component of Terminal services (now known as Remote Desktop Services). Terminal Server handles the job of authenticating clients, as well as making the applications available remotely. It is also entrusted with the job of restricting the clients according to the level of access they have.
The Terminal Server respects the configured software restriction policies, so as to restrict the availability of certain software to only a certain group of users. How to manually configure Windows Server using User Control Panel?

Microsoft had launched a Windows series for server operating system. Windows Server service can automatically set itself, but you can also manually configure it with the use of Control Panel.
Every time you boot Windows, server configuration parameters are automatically configured. However, if you do not want to set Server with the use of Control Panel Networks, then you have to run certain commands so that default parameters are written to the registry.
When you run the command “NET CONFIG SRV /SRVCOMMENT Windows will not change the calculated value of automatically set entries. In this way, it can be said that once you have run the above mentioned command, you become unable to add or remove system memory, or to modify any server size setting.
In case you want to view configuration information about the server, you can use the command “NET CONFIG SERVER.” This command will only display the information without doing any modification. There are some Server service support information levels, which let you configure every parameter individually.
The command “NET CONFIG SRV /HIDDEN” make use of information level 1016 in order to set the hidden parameter. Another command “NET.EXE” queries and sets information levels 102 and 502. After you run the given commands, all the parameters in the information level will set in the registry.
Once the parameters are set in the registry, the commands “SRVMGR.EXE” and the Control Panel Server query will set only level 102. If you are an administrator and want to modify the auto disconnect value, then you should not use the commands mentioned above. You should use “REGEDT32.EXE” for performing some specific modifications.
You can easily modify the server comment with the use of description field of the Control Panel Server applet or Server Manager. In case you want to modify the registry, you have to first take its backup for protection. Follow the given steps for restoring the LAN Manager Server parameters to the defaults, or to reconfigure Windows so that it auto-configures the Server service:
STEP 1: Run Registry Editor (REGEDT32.EXE).
STEP 2: From the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE subtree, go to the following key:
\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\LanmanServer\Parameters
STEP 3: Remove all the entries except the following:

STEP 4: Quit Registry Editor and restart Windows.

Conversion of Primary DNS Server to an Active Directory Integrated Primary Server

STEP 3: Click Change.
STEP 4: In the Change Zone Type box, click to select the “Store the zone” in Active Directory check box. When you are prompted to answer whether want this zone to become Active Directory integrated, click Yes, and then click OK.
When you complete all the steps, then in the Domain properties, type will be shown as "Active Directory-Integrated". You can supplement other DNS servers in the domain controller after its replication becomes complete. So, in this way you can supplement other DNS servers, which lead to removal of any point of failure.

STEP 4: Under “This connection uses the following items”, click either Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) or Internet Protocol Version 6 (TCP/IPv6), and then click Properties.
STEP 5: In the dialog box that appears, select either “Obtain an IP address automatically” or “Use the following IP address”.
a) If you configure the network adapter to obtain an IP address automatically, the default gateway is assigned by the DHCP server.
b) If you manually specify an IP address configuration, the default gateway is the IP address in the Default gateway box on the General tab

Google predicts that some 18 to 20 phones, from eight to nine manufacturers, will come with Android OS installed on them by the end of the year. Although Android is open-source, manufacturers will be able to sign distribution deals with Google in order to pre-install their phones with more options such as Google Apps. The Android OS is widely predicted to also make the jump to mini-notebooks, also known as "netbooks," soon. Google's Android mobile operating system could be running on 18 to 20 devices by the end of the year, according to Andy Rubin, Google's senior director for mobile platforms.
Speaking at the Google I/O Developer Conference in San Francisco, Rubin further said that eight or nine manufacturers would be involved in the creation of the Android-equipped phones, but reports have him declining to name which ones. Android will continue to be open source. Manufacturers will have the option of installing Android "obligation-free" onto their devices, which means the user will have access to the OS but not Google Apps such as Gmail. A second option for manufacturers that sign a distribution agreement with Google will allow them to pre-install Google Apps onto their devices. The third option, called the "Google Experience," opens up the manufacturer’s devices to Google Apps and the Android Market.
Phones that fall under the "Google Experience" will also be branded with the Google logo on the physical handset. In April, Google rolled out the Google Android 1.5 SDK, based on the "Cupcake" branch of the Android Open Source project, and incorporating APIs for features such as home screen widgets, home screen framework, media framework and speech recognition framework. A number of companies have announced plans to roll out Android-equipped smartphones. HTC is currently preparing Google Android smartphones for the Chinese and Canadian markets for a June rollout. A May 26 report published in The Wall Street Journal suggested that, in China, HTC would load Android onto a version of its Magic phone that would retail for around $730. For the Canadian market, Android will reportedly be loaded onto HTC Dream and HTC Magic smartphones, via Rogers Wireless.
Analysts have previously suggested that Android, which originally rolled out in August 2008, will be running on about 12 percent of global smartphones by 2012. On top of this, Android is also being ported onto mini-notebooks, also known as "netbooks," as an operating system. With research firm IDC estimating that netbook shipments will grow from 11.4 million in 2008 to 22 million in 2009, the market represents a potentially massive growth area for Android.
